Dates are done!
First and foremost
THIS IS NOT THE SIGN UP PAGE.
If you comment "I'm in!" and then don't come back on the official sign up day to fill in the sign up sheet (I need certain information), you will not be added. I know, I'm a meanie, but I have to.)
I will have more information and badges for your blog soon. Those of you who know me know I'm fighting, among other things, Lyme disease, so I'm working at a much slower pace than I would like. Please be patient but don't hesitate to comment with questions!
Don't forget, there is only ONE DAY to sign up -- it's the only way I can (maybe) manage the size of the party. Last time we hit over 500 people and had three reveal dates. This year, one day to sign up, one day to show off (well, to officially show off.... we'll be hopping around for a long time, I'm sure!)
Feel free to post this photo on your blog page
(but it's way too big for your badge, so hang on for that).
Ready?
Mark those calendars! Set those clocks!
It's Party Time!

HOORAY! I'm so excited about it already!
ReplyDeleteI am ready to play again! Hope you get better soon, and love your fighting spirit!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting Lori! xox love, jean
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited. I want to enter as a newbie, this event has inspired me (and I don't think I'm the only one) to start my own blog. Mine is called "needles and pins" and its very much a beginners effort. I had been thinking of doing this for a while, being influenced by "Beads for brains 365 days" I appreciate the opportunity to push myself and I am impressed with how your handling the challenge of Lyme disease. Its very sad that the forests which are our life are poisoned by this disease, taking some joy out of being in the woods.
ReplyDeleteYay! So excited. Can't wait. Thanks so much for all your hard work and effort in this. But don't forget to take care of yourself, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm in and I'll be back to sign up for real Thanks !!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you feel up to doing this and I will abide by all the rules. . I've set my google calendar and hopefully my calendar alarm will not fail me. Looking forward to the hop, even if I'm only a bystander( by- looker?)
ReplyDeleteGreat news Lori, looking forward to it! Calendar marked.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy you are able to do this. I know it takes a lot of effort. I set a reminder on my calendar so I won't miss it.

DeleteCan't wait!
ReplyDeleteYay! My favourite on-line event of the year. I'm really looking forward to it :-)
ReplyDeleteTake care <3
Darn, I was really hoping to be able to enter this year. The dates just conflict with our moving schedule. Maybe next year - I've said that the past two now :) Looking forward to seeing how the contest goes. :)
ReplyDeleteI am so excited.... I have it marked - with reminder alarms in my calendar!! ~KM
ReplyDeleteJust ordered a beautiful toggle clasp. I'm getting ready!
ReplyDeleteI'm off to finish making my "soup"!
ReplyDeleteThank You so much!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant I will spread the word I enjoyed myself last year :)
ReplyDeleteSo excited! Calender marked, alarms set, go! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lori - I'm really looking forward to this!
ReplyDeleteI've been browsing all the wonderful sites of former participants in the last couple of weeks, i.e. after I discovered this Bead Soup event. I am an absolute beginner but I'd love to participate. Not sure if I am going to enroll this year because I need a really good bead soup for my eventual partner so I am starting to look for special beads. This is an admirable initiative, Lori! Inspirational and invigorating!
ReplyDeleteBairozan, last year was my 1st time participating. Don't be discouraged by the previous years photos. Go for it. I did and can't wait to start for this year. You have plenty of time to start gathering. Plus once the sign up date comes & goes, you may regret not signing up. I put off signing up in 2012 and was a looker on the sidelines, but was involved in the Xmas 2012 gift swap.It was my first bead and gift swap through Lori's facebook group. Then in 2013, I was introduced into bead swaps, finished beaded jewelry swaps and more. I was fortunate to be involved in 12 swaps in 2013. So far for 2014, I'm committed to at least a dozen already and we're still in January. I encourage you to not put off this event.
DeleteI really appreciate this, Kathleen! Writing this comment was kind of a self motivation for me and now you came along and I feel much more confident about it :)
DeleteThank you Lori for the heads up! Marking my calendar and so ready to participate! :)
ReplyDeletePutting this on my calendar so I don't miss it! Looking forward to this!!
ReplyDeleteI am posting the anoouncement! xox one step forward for jean :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sad not to be able to participate this go-around as I'll be at the Tucson Gem Show on Feb. 9th during signups and the other dates conflict with some corporate classes and goings on that we're having this year, but I sure am going to have a ball hopping around and seeing all the beautiful jewelry that everyone posts on the reveal date, Lori. You sure do know how to throw an 'eye-candy' party and your BSBP is the best on the block (world!!)! Hope you feel better and can have some relief from your health issues, I know how much this means to you and your strength through everything is always an inspiration to so many! Best wishes my friend, I'm sending you positive thoughts, prayers and some 'kick-butt' healing vibes!!
ReplyDeleteHi! It's the first time for me! May I have more informations about a Bead Soup Party? Thank You for Your invitation! I'm ready to start!
